My name is Helena, licensed Esthetician and lover of all things skincare! My story began in São Paulo, Brazil. I moved to the U.S. when I was 7 years old, and have had my heart set on the beauty industry since. I work at Octagon Salon and Spa in Gurnee, IL. located just north of Chicago. I have a passion for skincare and making my clients look and feel their best. Nothing brings me more joy than taking away clients' stressors, even if just for an hour. As a mom of two young girls, I care more than ever about the ingredients I am using on myself and my family. The Kallianis family asked me to assist in the development of nota™ natural olive oil products- a concept that started way before I even knew the Kallianis family. nota™ began with the development of a bar soap in 2011 using the family’s olive oil harvested in Sparta, Greece. The vision was to utilize all the natural health benefits the non-gmo organic olives had to offer…so why stop at consumption! Maybe you are thinking...Why olive oil for your skin?
